(Baonghean.vn) - White garlic varietyJapanese rice was first tested in Na Ngoi commune (Ky Son) for outstanding productivity and quality.

Realizing that the Japanese white garlic variety is a plant that can adapt well to the climate and soil conditions of Na Ngoi, with high humidity and sloping land, recently, technical staff of the Youth Volunteer Team 10 and 25 Mong households conducted a trial planting of nearly 400 plants.

After 6 months, the Japanese white garlic variety has been harvested with outstanding yield and quality. The garlic is fragrant, solid, and large in size with a bulb diameter of 4 - 6.5 cm (2 to 3 times larger than regular garlic).

According to Mr. Vuong Xuan Tru, Captain of the Youth Volunteer Team 10, after harvesting, Japanese experts tested the quality and productivity indicators of the product. From there, the official conclusion was that this garlic variety can grow well in the Na Ngoi area.

However, that is still not the best result because in the last crop, although Japanese white garlic was grown, the basic technique was still Vietnamese.
