Troy Moth is an artist and photographer based on Vancouver Island, Canada. He is known for his photographs depicting both human and non-human beings. His images have appeared on many art walls, fashion clothing...

The photo of the bear by the dump was taken in a remote community in northern Ontario, Canada. The place was quite deserted, sometimes there was nothing for miles.

"I was surrounded by human waste and the natural world. Then I thought about how to combine the two," he told Canadian media.

"Then a local took me to the rubbish dump where the bears frequented. I saw seven or eight bears, all of them in terrible shape. They were staggering, sluggish and slow. One had a large burn on its face from feeding on the burnt rubbish," the photographer said.

Troy Moth didn't take any pictures then. For the first time, he didn't take any pictures, just thinking about what was happening before his eyes.

The next day he returned. Then he saw the bear about 20 feet away. It looked desperate. He took the picture, then stood there looking at it. Then it stood up very slowly. It trembled, stumbled, went down into the fire pit and disappeared.

"I wish I had filmed it, but I dropped the camera and just stood there," said Troy Moth.

He also said that after taking this photo, he could not take another photo of the bear. He also thought for a long time before deciding to post the photo online.

Many people shared the photo, which moved them deeply. "Thank you, Troy Moth. This story needs to be told. This story needs to be spread as far and wide as possible... Yes, we are the most destructive and invasive species on this planet," wrote one person named Salal.

"Thank you Troy Moth for this stunning photo, it shows our human disregard and contempt for the environment," commented CalgaryMark...
