Vinh City Party Committee newly established 7 party organizations in enterprises

(Baonghean.vn)-Implementing Project 5155 of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on "Developing Party members and Party organizations in private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises in the province, period 2014 - 2020", Vinh City Party Committee has established 7 more Party organizations and developed 24 Party members.

Mr. Dang To Duyet - Deputy Head of the Vinh City Party Committee's Organization Committee said: Implementing project 5155, up to now, in the city, 10/23 grassroots party organizations in private enterprises and state-owned enterprises (DNTT, DNNCVNN) have admitted outstanding people into the party with 24 comrades, reaching 39.13%, including 2 business owners.

The City Party Committee has also newly established 7 DNTT-DNCVNN Party cells and 01 cell is currently doing the procedure.

Thanks to the attention of Party committees, authorities and departments, 52 state-owned enterprises have formed trade unions and 03 enterprises have established youth unions.

Every year, over 19 Party organizations in private enterprises and state-owned enterprises achieve clean and strong status; over 90% of Party members are qualified to complete their tasks. 100% of grassroots Party committee members and Party cell secretaries in private enterprises and state-owned enterprises receive professional training in Party work.

Also according to Mr. Dang To Duyet, in addition to the common difficulties, the pilot implementation of admitting party members who are business owners into the party in the past has not achieved high results. Because the standards and conditions set for this group are quite high (requiring a university degree or high school diploma) while the Party's regulations only stipulate a cultural level of junior high school graduation or equivalent or higher. On the other hand, according to Instruction No. 17-HD/BTCTW of the Central Organizing Committee, the admission standard for individual business owners must be "elite masses".

However, in reality, to identify outstanding people, there must be comments and evaluations from the organizations of which that person is a member (union members or Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union members), while the instructions for implementing the Vietnam Trade Union Charter clearly state that "the subjects not admitted to the trade union organization are: Business owners, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Directors; Directors... in non-state enterprises". These are the shortcomings that the Provincial Party Committee and the Central Organizing Committee need to study, consider and resolve./.
