Man was hit by truck and died on the spot

(Baonghean.vn)- While driving a motorbike on Highway 1A, a man was hit by a truck, dragging his motorbike for dozens of meters, the victim died on the spot.

The tragic accident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on October 2, on National Highway 1A, in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district.

Witnesses to the accident said that Mr. Chu Duy Dong (53 years old), residing in Hamlet 5, Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, was riding a motorbike with license plate 37H1 8440 on National Highway 1A in the direction of Vinh - Hanoi. When he arrived in front of Phu Van Gold Shop, he was hit by a truck pulling a trailer with license plate 38R 0054. The collision was so strong that the motorbike and the person were dragged dozens of meters, the victim died on the spot.

After the accident, the traffic police of Dien Chau district were present in time to find the cause and resolve the matter.
