Nghe An farmers build 18,000 biogas tanks for livestock farming
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An, the whole province has built 18,000 biogas tanks (brick tanks) and composite tanks to treat livestock waste using biogas technology.
Currently in Nghe An province, many large farms and livestock farms are investing in building biogas tanks to ensure the environment. This is a professional livestock farming trend of farmers, especially in areas with the Lifsap project - a project to compete in the livestock industry and food safety currently being implemented in many districts such as Nam Dan, Do Luong, Dien Chau, Thanh Chuong...

Large, high-tech livestock farms such as Vinamilk dairy farm, TH Milk, Thai Duong pig farm... also apply new advanced foreign technologies to treat waste; at the same time, promote and encourage households to use livestock waste as fertilizer for crops (according to traditional experience) to ensure environmental hygiene.
In addition, local farmers in Nghe An have also built 200 models using biological bedding in raising chickens and pigs.
