Details that may help clear Doan Thi Huong of guilt
Other suspects may have poisoned the North Korean citizen, believed to be Kim Jong Nam - the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, an expert who testified in court on October 4 said.
CNA reported that pathologist Mohamad Shah Mahmood said it was possible that four other suspects (who were mentioned in the indictment but whose whereabouts are currently unknown) may have used nerve agents on "Kim Jong Nam" before he was attacked by two female suspects.

Indonesian suspects Siti Aisyah and Doan Thi Huong are currently accused of smearing VX nerve agent on Kim Jong Nam's face at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on February 13. Both suspects, in their 20s, have pleaded not guilty.
Siti and Huong said they were tricked into taking part in a prank for a reality TV show. Their lawyers said they were tricked by North Korean agents. According to Malaysian authorities, the four North Korean suspects left the country on the day of Kim Jong Nam's murder.
The "Kim Jong Nam" case has caused a major controversy between Malaysia and North Korea. Pyongyang currently denies all accusations.
On October 4, the third day of the Kim Jong Nam trial, Huong's lawyer Naran Singh asked expert Mohamad Shah about the ways VX poison can enter a person's body.
"The easiest ways are through skin contact, ingestion, inhalation, injection and through the eyes," the pathologist told the Shah Alam court.
Lawyer Naran Singh continued to ask whether it was possible that the other four suspects, who had been mentioned, had poisoned the victim before he arrived at the airport. "It is possible," replied Mr. Mohamad Shah, who examined the body of "Kim Jong Nam".
Security cameras captured Huong and Siti approaching "Kim Jong Nam", rubbing a chemical on his face and running away. The autopsy report said the victim died from VX poison.
However, experts are still puzzled as to why the two women who used the deadly chemical, once classified as a weapon of mass destruction, were not harmed.
Previously, lawyers had to wear masks and gloves when examining blood samples and swabs on the face of "Kim Jong Nam".
