Regarding the ticket sales plan, Mr. Trung said that the company will sell tickets to individuals and groups at the same time at 8:00 a.m. on October 15. This is different from previous years, when group tickets are usually sold earlier than individual tickets.

There are 300,000 seats available for passengers during Tet, an increase of about 10,000 seats compared to last year. "In recent times, the railway industry has made many changes, improvements, and improvements to old carriages and built new carriages. In particular, this Tet holiday, 30 newly built carriages will be put into service," Mr. Trung said about the reason for the increase in the number of tickets.

Mr. Do Quang Van - Director of Saigon Station Branch - added that to ensure security and order on the train and at the station, during peak times, the unit will organize to receive and control passengers' boarding passes at the ticket gate. There will be staff here to guide and assist passengers into the station and board the train.

From November, in addition to Hanoi and Da Nang stations, Saigon station will install automatic ticket control gates at stations with a large number of passengers to ensure safety and convenience for passengers.

"People should not buy tickets outside, invalid tickets when taking the train to avoid losing money and getting into trouble," Mr. Van advised.
