Nghi Loc commends 70 excellent Front work committee leaders

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 5, the Nghi Loc District Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to commend 86 excellent front work committee leaders for the 2015-2017 period.

Nghi Loc district currently has 446 working committees.Fronts in 30 communes and towns. In the past time, the Fatherland Front from district to grassroots level has mobilized over 7,000 households to donate approximately 3 million square meters of land, contributing 290,000 working days to build 226 km of new rural roads and 81 public works with a total amount of over 3.6 billion VND.

Promoting the spirit of “mutual love”, the Front Committees have mobilized people and called on philanthropists to participate in people’s charity activities. From 2015 to 2017, in residential areas, more than 1.8 billion VND in funds “for the poor” have been mobilized.

At the conference, Nghi Loc District People's Committee awarded 10 exemplary heads of the Front's working committee; the District Fatherland Front Committee commended 70 exemplary heads of the Front's working committee; 6 exemplary heads of the Front's working committee were proposed for awards by the province.
