Nghe An: Heavy rain sweeps two people away.
(Baonghean.vn) - As of 9:00 AM on October 10th, two victims have been swept away by floodwaters in Nghe An province. Local authorities are currently coordinating with search and rescue forces to find the victims.
.Around 6:00 AM on October 10th, Lang Duc Duy(Born in 2013, residing in Pat village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Hop district) was swept away by floodwaters while on her way to school.

Upon receiving the report, the Chau Tien commune authorities organized a search for Duy.
Currently, the bridge leading to Chau Tien commune is deeply submerged, causing a disruption and making access to the scene very difficult. The Quy Hop District People's Committee has directed communes to assign personnel to guard the flooded bridges, preventing people from crossing. The Quy Hop District leaders are trying to reach Chau Tien commune to direct the search for victims.
In Quynh Vinh commune (Hoang Mai town)At approximately 6:30 AM, Ms. Le Thi Ngoan (born in 1995, residing in Hamlet 9) was on her way to take her niece, a third-grade student, to school when she was swept away by the water at Ong Vang Bridge.

Fortunately, the child was rescued by local residents, but Ms. Ngoan and her motorbike were swept away by the floodwaters. Upon receiving the information, the authorities of Hoang Mai town directed Quynh Vinh commune and the police, military, and fire departments to organize search and rescue operations.
However, due to the strong current from upstream, the search for the victim is facing many difficulties in the section passing through the Rai stream.
