Senior officials rotated over the past three years

14 out of 44 cadres transferred from central to local levels in 2014 were elected to the 12th Party Central Committee.

The Politburo has just issued a decreeRegulations on staff rotation, with the aim of creating a long-term source of staff, especially key leaders in sectors, levels and strategic-level staff.

Previously, in the 2011-2016 term, the whole country rotated 18,840 leaders and managers at all levels. Especially at the beginning of the year2014,The Politburo and Secretariat decided to rotate 44 leaders.

In the list of 44 officials mentioned above, 25 people were appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of provincial and municipal Party Committees;19 people hold the position of Vice Chairmen of Provincial and Municipal People's Committees. At the time of rotation, there were two members of the Party Central Committee, 19 deputy ministers and equivalent, 25 department heads, division heads and equivalent, including 3 female officials.

All transferred cadres are in the planning for key leadership positions, including 22 people planned to participate in the Party Central Committee for the 2016-2021 term and subsequent terms.

At the 12th Congress,There are 11 cadres on the rotation list elected to the Party Central Committee, currently 8 peoplehold a senior position at work. Specifically:

GrandfatherNguyen Thanh Nghi(At the time of transfer, he was an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Construction, and worked as Deputy Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee. He is currently Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

GrandmaNguyen Thi Thu Ha (Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, transferred to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, currently holding the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union;

Major generalTran Quoc To (Deputy Director General of the General Department of Crime Prevention and Control, transferred to be Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee),currently holds the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee;

GrandfatherLe Minh Khai (Deputy State Auditor General, transferred to be Deputy Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee),currently holds the position of Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee;

GrandfatherTran Van Son (Deputy Minister of Construction, transferred to be Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, currently holding the positionSecretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee;

GrandfatherLe Thanh Long (Deputy Minister of Justice, transferred to be Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, currently holding the position of Minister of Justice;

GrandfatherNguyen Dinh Khang (General Director of Vietnam Chemical Group, transferred to Deputy Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, currently holding the positionSecretary of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee;

Also at the 12th Congress, there were 3 transferred cadres elected as alternate members of the Party Central Committee, including:

GrandfatherLe Quang Tung,Director of the Department of Local and Territorial Economy, Ministry of Planning and Investment, was transferred to be Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.;

GrandfatherVu Dai Thang,Director of the Department of Economic Zones Management, Ministry of Planning and Investment, was transferred to be Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province;

UMBRELLAngBui Nhat Quang,Director of the Institute of African and Middle Eastern Studies, rotated as Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, currentlyholds the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

Of the 25 officials rotated to become Deputy Secretaries of provincial and municipal Party Committees, 11 are currently holding the positions at the time of their arrival in the locality; 3 personnel have been transferred to other jobs, including:

GrandfatherLe Thanh Van (Standing member of the Finance - Budget Committee, transferred to work as Deputy Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, now returning to his old position atFinance and Budget Committee;

UMBRELLAngNguyen Van Thanh (PDeputy Inspector General of the Government, transferred to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, currently continues to hold the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government;
