Nghe An University of Economics inaugurates the new academic year.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 10th, Nghe An University of Economics held its opening ceremony for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Over the years, Nghe An University of Economics has continuously strived to ensure the necessary training conditions and meet the sustainable human resource needs of the province and the entire country. Currently, the university has over 3,000 students across 11 different training programs, including key majors such as: Finance - Taxation; Accounting - Auditing; Banking - Insurance; Economic Management; and Agricultural Economics. This new academic year, the university welcomes more than 600 new students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized: For the strong development of the university in the coming time, every staff member, lecturer, and student must be determined to fulfill their duties, contributing to further affirming Nghe An University of Economics as a prestigious university training center in the fields of economics and engineering in the province, the North Central region, and the whole country.

On the occasion of the opening ceremony of the new academic year, the school's leadership and several businesses in the area awarded prizes to students and new students who achieved high academic and entrance exam results in 2017.
