Honoring 15 outstanding political school lecturers

(Baonghean.vn) - After 2 days of competition at the Competition for Excellent Lecturers of Political Schools, 15 lecturers of political schools in the Northern region were recognized by the Organizing Committee as excellent lecturers, including2 lecturers of Nghe An Political School.

On the morning of October 13, at Nghe An Provincial Political School, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held the closing ceremony of the 6th Competition for excellent lecturers of political schools of provinces, cities, ministries, branches and central organizations in the Northern region.

This year's contest included many new contents, comprehensively evaluating the quality of lecturers with 64 lecturers from 33 Political and Cadre schools.

With professional awareness and political responsibility, the participating lecturers demonstrated their qualifications and mettle, making the most of their abilities, professional experience, and pedagogical talent to perform well in the content of the competition.

As a result, 61 lecturers were recognized as good teachers, of which 15 lecturers were recognized as excellent teachers.

In particular, Nghe An Provincial Political School had 3/3 lecturers participating in the contest winning the title of Excellent Lecturer, including 2 lecturers winning the title of Excellent Lecturer, namely: Master Pham Thi Nhu Quynh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Mass Mobilization and Master Nguyen Van Thanh - Head of the Faculty of Marxist-Leninist Theory and Ho Chi Minh Thought.

In his closing speech, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang affirmed that the contest has deepened the implementation of Resolution No. 32 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of training and fostering political theory for leaders and managers.

This is also a step to concretize the emulation movement "Breakthrough - Creativity - Quality - Efficiency" of the Academy and the system of provincial, municipal, ministerial and sectoral political schools nationwide.

Considering that the results of the competition that political school lecturers have achieved are just the beginning, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang requested that each lecturer who has been recognized as an excellent lecturer should continue to strive and improve their expertise and skills to better complete their assigned tasks, become pioneers of each school, and continue to be honored by colleagues and students in all positions.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang also emphasized that schools need to continue to maintain and promote the movement of "good teaching, good learning", with the emulation motto of "breakthrough, creativity, quality, efficiency" to further improve the quality of training, staff development, scientific research, and practical summary.

Schools need to have specific plans and organize regular teaching and observation activities, creating conditions for lecturers to improve their professional qualifications, methods and pedagogical skills; thereby evaluating and classifying the quality of lecturers.

From there, schools have short-term and long-term training and development plans to have a team of qualified lecturers, aiming to build standard political schools to serve the cause of promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration of localities and the whole country, enhancing the position and role of political schools.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also said that after the contest, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics will announce the results of the schools to the Standing Committees of the provincial and municipal Party Committees, leaders of relevant ministries and branches and request the Party Committees and authorities of the provinces and cities to continue to pay attention, lead, create conditions and have specific policies for the training and fostering of lecturers; have timely incentives for lecturers who achieve the titles of good and excellent lecturers.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang also suggested that the boards of directors of political schools and ministerial schools need to promptly encourage lecturers who achieved the title of excellent lecturer at the Competition.
