Measures proposed include restructuring debt repayment terms, considering interest rate exemptions, continuing to provide new loans to restore production after floods, and handling debt for customers suffering loan losses according to regulations.
In addition, the State Bank recommends that all parties should organize visits and encouragement for affected families, especially poor households, policy households, and ethnic minority households.
The above support, according to the State Bank, aims to encourage people to overcome difficulties, restore production, and carry out social security work for families suffering human and property damage, and areas heavily affected by these natural disasters.
For branches in provinces and cities, the State Bank requires coordination with local departments, branches and sectors to advise the Provincial People's Committee in supporting people affected by damage and areas affected by natural disasters.
In addition, the State Bank branches in the provinces will act as focal points to direct credit institutions in the area to urgently implement support for people to overcome the above-mentioned damages.
