Equipping border officers with national border management skills

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 17, in Ky Son district, the Department of Foreign Affairs organized a training course on professional skills in national border management and protection of the Vietnam - Laos border marker system.

During the 1-day period, the trainees were informed by lecturers of the Provincial Border Guard Command about the contents of 3 topics: Overview of the Vietnam - Laos border; Work of increasing and renovating the system of national border markers and two legal documents on the Vietnam - Laos border; Work of managing the Vietnam - Laos border and ensuring security in the border area of ​​Nghe An province.

Over the years, the border security situation and social order and safety in the district have always been stable, the friendly and cooperative relationship between Ky Son district and districts along the Vietnam - Laos border has been constantly consolidated and nurtured. This has created favorable conditions and a solid foundation for people to stabilize their production and business, develop the economy, and reduce poverty.

According to the plan, after the training course in the district, the Department of Foreign Affairs will continue to organize two training courses for people in the two border communes of Ta Ca and Nam Can, Ky Son district.
