The new version of Toyota Corolla has just been launched in Japan with many design upgrades and especially priced from only 300 million VND.
The Corolla model is currently in the Vietnamese market and the international market, launched by Toyota since 2012. Although the design of this model has been made by the Japanese manufacturer with some minor changes, this model will soon be completely renewed.

Recently, some images of the Toyota Corolla 2018 were shared on social networks. In the Japanese market, Corolla Axio and Corolla Fielder are the two sedan and station wagon versions of this car line. Through the leaked images, we can see many changes in the design of the new generation Toyota Corolla.
The new Toyota Corolla version in Japan has a design that is very different from the international version as well as the previous generation. Perhaps the front of the car is where the designers focused on changing the most. In particular, the most notable is the lower grille of both versions, which no longer has horizontal metal bars and is instead a mesh.
The front bumper has also been changed, the headlights integrate sharp LED daytime lights, in the middle is a T-shaped chrome grille with Toyota logo and front bumper with large air intake.

In particular, the high-end version of Corolla Axio is WxB with a mesh grille and a rear spoiler behind the luggage compartment lid. The amenities inside the cockpit have not changed compared to the old versions.
The basic dimensions of the new Toyota Corolla Axio include an overall length of 4,400 mm, a width of 1,695 mm and a height of 1,460 mm. Thus, compared to the international version of the Corolla, the Corolla Axio has a smaller length and width. The size of the Corolla Axio is equivalent to the size of the international version of the Toyota Vios.
Meanwhile, with the main 5-door wagon body style, Corolla Fielder has a much larger cargo compartment with a volume of 872 liters. The three corresponding size numbers of Toyota Corolla Fielder are 4,400/4,410 mm, 1,695 mm and 1,465/1,475/1,500/1,510/1,535 mm, depending on the version.

From the side, the 2018 Toyota Corolla in Japan is equipped with a new set of wheels. On the Fielder version, the wheels are 4-spoke with two-tone color, while on the Axio, the wheels are designed with a more beautiful spiral design.
Both the 2018 Corolla Axio and Corolla Fielder are equipped with the Safety Sense C driver-assistance technology package, Intelligent Clearance Sonar, which helps avoid and reduce the impact caused by the driver mistakenly pressing the accelerator pedal.

In the Japanese market, the Toyota Corolla is equipped with 3 options of 4-cylinder inline naturally aspirated gasoline engines: 1.3l (95 PS/121 Nm), 1.5l (110 PS/138 Nm) and 1.8l (140 PS/173 Nm). Depending on the version, the car will be equipped with a Super CVT-i continuously variable transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission. In addition, the new Corolla Axio and Corolla Fielder also have a gasoline-electric hybrid version.
In Japan, the Toyota Corolla Axio 2018 will be sold in 7 versions, with starting prices ranging from 1,507,680 - 2,482,920 JPY (equivalent to about 300 million VND to 496 million VND). The Corolla Fielder 2018 has 8 versions, with starting prices ranging from 1,656,720 - 2,536,920 JPY (equivalent to 330 million VND to 507 million VND).
