Pretend to sell motorbike then rob money back

After posting an advertisement online for a car of unknown origin and then intending to rob the customer, Dieu and Huy were arrested less than 2 days after committing the crime.

On the afternoon of October 19, Uong Bi City Police, Quang Ninh Province, announced that they had just arrested Do Duc Dieu (born in 1999) and Bui Doan Huy (born in 2000), both from Minh Tan Commune, Thuy Nguyen District, Hai Phong City, in connection with a robbery case.

Initial investigation determined that on October 15, 2017, Do Duc Dieu used the nickname "Doi Den Bac Lam" to post on social media (facebook) an advertisement to sell a Yamaha Exciter motorbike.

Then, Mr. Nguyen K. (born in 1999, Cua Ong Ward, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province) came in to buy the car. After agreeing on the price, time, and place of purchase, Dieu had the idea of ​​pretending to sell the car to rob the victim.

To carry out this act, Dieu discussed with Bui Doan Huy to prepare “hot goods” to rob the property of the car buyer. Dieu made an appointment with Mr. K. to come to Hong Ha area, Phuong Nam ward, Uong Bi city to make the transaction.

At around 12:00 noon on October 16, Mr. K. and his friend Dao Minh H. went to the meeting place to conduct a car transaction with Dieu and Huy. After receiving 5.8 million VND from Mr. K., Huy suddenly used a knife to threaten and slashed Mr. H. once in the arm, causing injury, then drove away with Dieu.

Upon receiving the report, Uong Bi City Police quickly investigated and identified the suspects. In a short time, the police recovered the stolen vehicle and the money that Dieu's group had stolen.
