"No, it's not like that," - Peskov responded to journalists' requests to comment on allegations against Sobchak that her election campaign was being prepared in the Kremlin.
He also called for not talking too early about potential opponents of Vladimir Putin in the election, as the head of state has not yet announced his participation in the next presidential election.
"He now prioritizes focusing on the work of the presidency," the press secretary added.
Last night, Ksenia Sobchak announced her intention to participate in the Russian presidential election, defining herself as an "against all" candidate.
Any citizen who has reached the age of 35 can run for president. The TV presenter will turn 36 in November. Ksenia Sobchak noted that she told Vladimir Putin about her intention and did not think the president liked the idea.
