| When talking about the largest village gate in Nghe An, one must mention the gate of Quynh Doi village (Quynh Luu district). According to the design, the structure covers an area of 3,000m², with the highest point of the gate reaching 14m and a width of 22m. The gate has one main entrance and two side entrances; the main arch is 6.9m high and 7m wide, and the gate pillars are 4m wide... The inscription facing the gate reads "Quynh Doi Village"; the inscription facing from the inside looking out reads "Khai Co 1378" (meaning Quynh Doi village was established in 1378). The gate is 26 meters wide (east-west); the main gate is 6 meters high and 6 meters wide; and the two side gates are 4.8 meters high each.
