Arrest of the man who blocked a car and stabbed someone to death, hiding in his own home

On the afternoon of October 21, Nguyen Van Nam (35 years old, residing in Ward 6, My Tho City) was discovered and arrested by the police while hiding at home.

Nam is the suspect who ran after Lu Cong H (27 years old, living in Ward 3, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province) and stopped his motorbike, then pulled out a knife and stabbed him after an argument.

Suspect Nguyen Van Nam was arrested.

Before that, at around 11:00 a.m. on October 21, Mr. Lu Cong H rode his motorbike from the end of alley number 3, in quarter 1, ward 6, My Tho city to Nguyen Ngoc Ba street.

Suddenly, from behind, Nguyen Van Nam ran after Mr. H and stopped him, then the two sides argued and fought.

During the fight, Mr. H was stabbed by Nam with a weapon, fell to the street and died at the hospital.

At the scene of the incident, authorities discovered and seized 1 motorbike, 1 folding knife, 1 homemade knife, a pair of sandals and a helmet.

Through working at the police station, Nam initially said that Mr. H came to Nam's house to cause trouble. When he saw Mr. H turning to leave, Nam chased after him to talk, and the incident happened.

It is known that Nguyen Van Nam had a previous conviction for drug trafficking and had just been released from prison. Lu Cong H had a previous conviction for intentionally causing injury.

The case is currently under investigation by the authorities.
