Cong Vinh edited Thuy Tien's first Bolero album

The singer confidently sings lyrical music in her own way and is helped by her husband to release the CD "The Eyes of the Ancients".

On the afternoon of October 23 in Ho Chi Minh City, Thuy Tien released her first Bolero album. SingerShe shared that as a Westerner, lyrical music has been in her blood since she was a child. After having a family and becoming a mother, she confidently gained enough experience to sing Bolero.

The editor of the songs in the album is her husband - former football player Cong Vinh. According to Thuy Tien, her husband loves and only listens to Bolero. The singer believes that her husband will give her many useful advices as well as be able to arrange the song order appropriately. SingerHappy homerevealed the reason Cong Vinh did not appear with her at the album launch was because he was shy.

The singer jokingly said that when she entered the studio, she sang half a song and looked out to see her husband sleeping soundly outside. Her mother had chronic insomnia but after listening to her daughter's Bolero CD, she fell asleep. She joked that the CD might also be useful in curing insomnia for people.

"I'm not afraid of being criticized when singing Bolero, nor am I afraidnegative reactions from people because I'm callous to the storm. I sing the way I feel. I think the career of an artist is not long, so just do what you like, bring something new to yourself," the singer confided.

Thuy Tien said that once on tour in the US, she sang the song Nguoi di ngoai pho and was supported by the audience and asked to buy the album. At that time, she promised to do aBolero CD for everyone.

Singer Thuy Tien is confident that she has enough experience to sing old songs.

The product includes 10 songs familiar to the audience such as:Stealing a look at each other, Withered grass, Fate, Where did the lover's hair go?... She spent nearly three years to complete the CD, including recording over and over again, coming up with ideas, and designing the album artwork.

Thuy Tien will film MVs for 10 songs on the CD and release one song each week to bring the product closer to the public.
