Recently, Market Management Team No. 14 - Hanoi Market Management Department simultaneously inspected 3 production facilities in Chuong My and Phuc Tho districts (Hanoi), confiscating many water purifiers and labels used to produce counterfeit goods.

These water purifiers were advertised as being imported from Japan and could completely remove many harmful substances in water, but in fact, they were manufactured in Dai Yen commune, Chuong My district (Hanoi). At the time of inspection, the warehouse had many labels of many major brands and anti-counterfeit stamps, imported goods.

On July 10, Market Management Team No. 26 coordinated with the Political Protection Department (PA65), Hanoi City Police and Ha Dong District Police to discover and seize more than 13,000 bottles of fake cosmetics of unknown origin at a cosmetics facility on Quang Trung Street (Ha Dong, Hanoi).

Authorities discovered many boxes containing skin whitening shower gels and skin whitening bath salts, bearing the famous Clarins brand imported from France, with a total of over 13,000 bottles. All of the above goods had labels and anti-counterfeit stamps, but these stamps and labels were suspected to be... fake.

At the time of inspection, the representative of the facility could not present documents proving the origin of the above goods. The representative of the cosmetic facility, Nguyen Thi Van (born in 1991, residing in Sai Son commune, Quoc Oai, Hanoi) confessed: These products are advertised and sold on the social networking site Facebook under the name Spa Venus with the effect of whitening, moisturizing, treating freckles, acne, scars...

The Department of Environmental Crime Prevention (C49) in coordination with the Hanoi Market Management Department has just caught a facility specializing in manufacturing and distributing large quantities of fake functional foods. Checking two production facilities in An Khanh commune, Hoai Duc district (Hanoi), the authorities discovered more than 600 boxes of fake functional foods bearing the famous American brand Glucosamine, which had just been packaged and prepared for sale, along with a large amount of fake stamps and labels at the scene.

The two facilities were rented by Do Dinh Quan (born in 1982, permanent residence in Tho Xuan, Thanh Hoa) to produce counterfeit goods. The subject confessed to purchasing functional food in pill form floating on the market, then printing fake stamps and labels of famous foreign brands, mixing them into products of genuine distribution companies for consumption.

From tens of thousands of violations in the field of counterfeit goods, fake goods, poor quality goods, and commercial fraud, the authorities have seized and paid thousands of billions of VND to the State budget, and prosecuted hundreds of violators.
