More than 400 students received rice from the Government

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 24, Con Cuong High School organized rice distribution to support students in region 135 according to Decree 116/2016/ND-CP dated July 18, 2016 of the Government.

Accordingly, in the 2017-2018 school year, Con Cuong High School had 401 students receiving rice support. These are students from localities that are beneficiaries of Program 135, whose houses are more than 10km from the school, will receive 15kg of rice/month, within 9 months of a school year.

This program helps children study with peace of mind, and at the same time supports parents in mountainous areas to reduce some of the worries about the cost of sending their children to school, especially in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions like Con Cuong.
