Giving breeding cows to poor households in Anh Son border commune
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 25, the Anh Son District Red Cross Society coordinated with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the District Fatherland Front to hand over breeding cows to poor households in the border commune of Phuc Son.
Phuc Son is one of the border communes that benefited from the “Cow Bank” project of the Vietnam Red Cross. In 2014, the “Cow Bank” project supported poor households in the commune with 10 breeding cows, each worth about 10 million VND. Thanks to good care, now there are 4 cows that have given birth to 4 calves.
