Losing all positions for arbitrarily proposing to appoint his son

For arbitrarily proposing to appoint his son to the position of Deputy Chief of Commune Police, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Loc Commune, Ha Tinh was proposed to be disciplined and dismissed from office.

Recently, the Standing Committee of Can Loc District Party Committee (Ha Tinh) has disciplined and removed the member of the Party Committee of Truong Loc Commune for the 2015-2020 term and proposed the District People's Committee to remove Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan from the position of Chairman of the Commune People's Committee for many serious shortcomings and violations.

Accordingly, during his work, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Loc commune, Can Loc district had the following shortcomings and violations:

- Lack of responsibility and lax state management of resource and mineral exploitation in the commune area leads to the situation where enterprises exploit and transport soil for sale outside the locality for a long time without timely inspection, supervision and handling; directly signing a number of land lease contracts in the locality without proper authority.

- Being arbitrary and authoritarian in managing work; violating the principle of democratic centralism and the Working Regulations of the Party Executive Committee of the commune, term 2015-2020. Taking advantage of his position to arbitrarily prepare documents without going through the collective Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the commune when requesting the District People's Committee to appoint his son to the position of Deputy Chief of the Commune Police, which is not in accordance with regulations.

- The shortcomings and violations of Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan are serious, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party and himself, causing public discontent among cadres, Party members and people, and need to be considered for strict disciplinary action.

Considering the content, nature and level of the violation, the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee proposed that the District Party Committee's Standing Committee take disciplinary action by removing the member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Truong Loc commune, term 2015-2020.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued Decision No. 494-QD/HU, dated October 19, 2017, to discipline Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan by removing him from the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Truong Loc Commune, term 2015-2020, and proposed the District People's Committee to discipline him by removing him from the position of Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, term 2016-2021.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Can Loc District Party Committee also issued a disciplinary decision in the form of a reprimand against the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Truong Loc commune and Mr. Nguyen Huy Minh, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune.
