Police summoned 28 suspects of arms trafficking
Searching the suspects' homes, authorities seized more than 20 homemade guns of various types and accessories for making weapons.

On October 27, the Investigation Security Agency (PA92), Thai Binh Provincial Police, announced that it had successfully broken up a ring of illegal trading and manufacturing of military weapons and homemade weapons; confiscating dozens of highly lethal guns of various types and gun accessories. 28 suspects residing in this province have been summoned to serve the investigation.
According to investigation documents, since March 2017, through reconnaissance work, Department PA92 has discovered many cases of illegal buying, selling and manufacturing of homemade weapons over the internet in the province.
Suspects Nguyen Thanh Hai (27 years old), residing in Trang Bom district, and Nguyen Van Hung (31 years old), residing in Bien Hoa city (Dong Nai province) were identified as the instigators.
After many months of investigation, Thai Binh police coordinated with Dong Nai police to arrest Hai and Hung.
From the suspects' statements, PA92 Thai Binh clarified the actions and identities of 28 young men in the districts of Dong Hung, Quynh Phu, Kien Xuong, and Hung Ha.

The case is being further investigated by the police.
