Couple attacked by hornets had to be hospitalized

According to information from local authorities, at around 4:00 p.m. on October 25, while Mr. Ky and his wife were weeding their sugarcane garden, they were attacked by a swarm of bees.

Attacked unexpectedly and in a dense sugarcane field, both of them were stung by bees many times on the head and ears. After running about 1km from the place where the bees attacked, both of them gradually weakened and fainted.

Fortunately, when hearing the cries for help from Mr. Ky and his wife, the local people came and quickly took both of them to the hospital for emergency treatment. After more than two days of being injected with medicine and given antidote, the health of Mr. Ky and his wife has gradually recovered. Mr. Ky was worried about chasing away the swarm of bees so his wife could escape, so he was stung more seriously and is still receiving treatment.

The Apisdorsata is a species of poisonous bee, scientifically known as Apisdorsata, distributed in Southeast Asian countries. If stung in large numbers without timely treatment, the patient may die from liver failure, acute kidney failure and blood poisoning.
