Female worker dies after refusing to 'please' boyfriend

On October 29, Ha Nam Provincial Police arrested Nguyen Van Thuc (33 years old) to investigate murder.

According to the investigation agency, on the evening of October 25, people discovered the body of a woman in a ditch at the foot of Thai Ha bridge, the bridge connecting Ly Nhan district (Ha Nam) with Hung Ha district (Thai Binh).

Police in Thai Binh and Ha Nam provinces identified the victim as Ms. Bui Thi Hue, 34 years old, a worker at Chau Son Industrial Park, who was renting a room in Phu Ly city.

Ha Nam authorities concluded that the victim was hit multiple times in the head with a hard object by the perpetrator and his body was pushed into a ditch.

The police suspect Nguyen Van Thuc - Hue's boyfriend - as the perpetrator and an arrest warrant was issued on the evening of October 26. Thuc said he had just met the victim online. On the night of October 23, while out, Thuc demanded sex from the female worker and was refused, so he took a brick and hit her, then disposed of the body.
