Losing to Tottenham, Ronaldo said he is not thinking about renewing his contract with Real

After a series of bad matches with Real, Ronaldo said he is not thinking about renewing his contract with the White Vultures.

Real are going through their worst run of form under coach Zidane. In their last four matches, the White Vultures have won just one and lost two. This is an unacceptable result for the Champions League champions for two consecutive seasons.

Speaking after the match, Ronaldo could not hide his dissatisfaction because Real's board of directors let too many players leave without worthy replacements: "Look at Pepe, James Rodriguez and Morata leaving. They are all top-class players but right now we don't have worthy replacements.

The young players in the Real squad are still inexperienced and that is why we have suffered defeats. Of course, that is not an excuse for defeat. We will have to stand up stronger."

When asked if he wanted to renew his contract with Real, Ronaldo said: "I have 4 years left on my contract with Real. At this point I feel fine but I don't think about renewing my contract. Let's wait and see what happens."

Winning consecutive championships seems to have made Real's board of directors complacent. In the summer transfer window, they did not bring any "blockbusters" to the Bernabeu. The shortage of personnel became more obvious when Bale and Carvajal were injured. At this rate, it is very likely that the White Vultures will have to face a trophyless season./.
