According to the document, worker Nguyen Van Nam (1989), address at hamlet 2, Hung Tien commune, Hung Nguyen district, entered Japan on October 28, 2016 and did technical internship at Shinwa Co,.Ltd.
According to the announcement of the IM Japan Office in Vietnam, although the receiving company enthusiastically supported the workers in learning Japanese and providing work guidance, Nguyen Van Nam escaped from the company after only 1 month of internship.
Currently, IM Japan is coordinating with Japanese authorities to investigate and track down the culprit. The official dispatch of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs clearly states that worker Nguyen Van Nam will face many difficulties and risks if he continues to stay and work illegally in Japan.

Notably, IM Japan Organization sent an official dispatch to the Overseas Labor Center informing them of the request for worker Nguyen Van Nam to compensate the entire amount that IM Japan Organization and the company had to pay to receive the worker for technical internship in Japan, which is 407,091 JPY, equivalent to 83,372,237 VND.
According to the Employment Department, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An, the number of Nghe An workers who have run away, violated contracts, and resided illegally in Japan is increasing. This is an alarm bell, if there is no solution soon, I am afraid that Japan will also impose bans like Korea is doing to workers from some localities with high rates of running away. |
