Suicide bombing, more than 30 casualties in Golan Heights

A suicide car bombing on November 3 killed nine people in a village in Syria's Golan Heights, Syrian media reported.

Immediately after the attack, there were many gun battles between government forces and rebels.

According to Syria's SANA news agency, a suicide bomber from the Al-Nusra Front detonated a bomb planted in a car in a residential area outside the village of Hader, which borders the border line that separates the Syrian-controlled part of the Golan Heights from the Israeli-controlled part.

The attack also left at least 23 people injured. However, the death toll could rise as many people are in critical condition.

Immediately after the incident, terrorist groups attacked the village of Hader. In response, army units and paramilitary units, including pro-government gunmen, deployed forces to fight against the attackers.

Hader is a village with a large Druze population - followers of a religion similar to Islam - that has suffered many attacks from rebel groups and extremist Islamic groups in recent times.

This village is located in the southwest of Syria's Quneitra province. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, about 70% of Quneitra province is currently occupied by both rebel groups and extremist Islamists, while the Syrian government only controls the remaining 30% of the area./.
