Awarding scholarships 'For studious children' in Tuong Duong

(Baonghean.vn) - The Tuong Duong District Association for the Promotion of Education has just awarded 160 "For studious children" scholarships to poor students in the area.

160 gifts were given to 160 primary and secondary school students in 16/18 communes and towns in the district. Each commune received 10 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND. The funding source was sponsored by Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group.

It is known that this is the 4th year of implementing the scholarship program "For studious children" according to the commitment signed between Viettel Military Telecommunications Group, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Association for Promotion of Education. It is a joint activity to support and encourage students in remote, isolated and extremely disadvantaged areas to excel in their studies to establish themselves and their careers in the future.
