Russian senator mocks Trump's 'proclamation to soldiers'

The Russian senator said so when commenting on US President Donald Trump's statement that "no dictator, no regime or nation dares to underestimate the determination of the Americans, the bravest soldiers in the world".

"I hope that in the future, such material will not be needed. It will not be difficult for humanity to verify which country's soldiers are worthy of being the best in the world," - Mr. Klintsevich wrote on Facebook.

In the senator's view, history is insufficient to confirm or deny Trump's claim, given the fact that "Americans have almost never fought." Mr. Klintsevich added that such claims are purely echoes of the theory of American exclusivity.
