Billionaire Jack Ma attends VEPF Forum in Hanoi
Jack Ma - founder and Chairman of the world-famous Alibaba Group has arrived in Hanoi and will give a remarkable speech this morning, November 6, at the JW Marriot Hanoi Hotel.

This morning (November 6), billionaire Jack Ma - Chairman of Alibaba Group - the world's largest e-commerce company gave a speech at the Vietnam Electronic Payment Forum 2017. Currently, Alibaba is the number one e-commerce company in China. Jack Ma owns assets of up to 29.2 billion USD. His success in 2014 is associated with Alibaba's IPO in September. This is the world's largest IPO to date.
Jack Ma will have a dialogue session revolving around his experiences in developing e-commerce, mobile e-payments in China (via the Alipay application) and the globalization story of the world's largest e-commerce platform Alibaba.
Later in the afternoon, the billionaire will speak to students in Hanoi to inspire and inspire young Vietnamese people.
Jack Ma also attended the APEC Summit Week in Da Nang.
Vietnam Electronic Payment Forum (VEPF) 2017 is an event organized by Vietnam National Payment Corporation (Napas) and VnExpress under the direction of the State Bank, aiming to promote non-cash payments in Vietnam.
This is the largest annual forum on electronic payments in Vietnam. After two years of organization, VEPF continues to be a gathering place for representatives of the Government, ministries, branches, management agencies, prestigious domestic and foreign experts, leading associations and enterprises in the fields of finance, banking, retail, e-commerce, information technology, etc.
VEPF 2017 is held in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 taking place globally. Many new payment services, information technology and telecommunications applications have also appeared, such as mobile payment.
