According to a recent announcement by Ho Chi Minh City Club, from round 25 of V-League, coach Alain Fiard will no longer lead this team, even though V-League 2017 still has 2 more rounds to end.

After 24 rounds of V-League 2017, Ho Chi Minh City FC has dropped to 11th place out of 14 participating teams. Although the new V-League 2017 team has officially stayed in the league, the team's performance has not been really impressive.
