8-year-old girl killed by bus on her way to school

On the morning of November 7, in the two cities of Da Lat and Bao Loc of Lam Dong province, two consecutive traffic accidents occurred, killing two people.

Major Nguyen Van Hung, Captain of the Traffic Police Team of Da Lat City Police, said that at around 6:45 a.m. on November 7, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga (33 years old), living on Tran Thai Tong Street, Da Lat City (Lam Dong) took her daughter, Nguyen Thuy Duong (8 years old), to school.

Along the way, Ms. Nga stopped her motorbike in front of a grocery store on Hung Vuong Street, Da Lat City so her daughter could buy bread.

After buying bread, Nguyen Thuy Duong had just gotten into the car, and Ms. Nga was preparing to drive the car to take her child to school when suddenly a passenger bus with license plate 51B - 30.888 driven by Le Tuan Anh (23 years old), residing in Di An town (Binh Duong) traveling in the same direction, hit her from behind.

As a result, Nguyen Thuy Duong was hit and killed by a passenger bus. Ms. Nga was injured and was taken to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment.

At 7:45 a.m. the same day, Ms. Phan Thi Dung (46 years old), residing in Dam Bri commune (Bao Loc city), driving a motorbike with license plate 49V5 - 4669, when reaching Ly Thai To street, Dam Bri commune, Bao Loc city, collided with a motorbike with license plate 29L8 - 6985, driven by Mr. Trinh Xuan Trung (22 years old), residing in Loc Tan commune, Bao Lam district. The collision caused Ms. Dung to fall onto the road.

At this moment, truck with license plate 49H - 9028 driven by Nguyen Van Quy (30 years old), residing in Dai Lao commune (Bao Loc city) ran over Ms. Dung, causing the victim to die on the spot.

Both serious accidents are currently being urgently investigated and clarified by authorities.
