Changes on Toyota Hilux 2017 just introduced in Vietnam

The new point of Toyota Hilux 2017 is to only use 2.4L engine, remove 2.8L engine and add 2-wheel drive automatic version.

After a year of launching the new version to the market, Toyota Vietnam continues to upgrade the Hilux line to meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers in the pickup truck segment.

Specifically, Hilux 2017 in Vietnam has 3 versions, 2.4G 4x4 MT, 2.4E 4x2 MT and the new version 2.4E 4x2 AT. In this upgrade, the 2.4G 4x4 MT version is equipped with a new 2.4 2GD-FTV Diesel engine instead of the 1GD-FTV engine in the previous generation with a maximum capacity of 147 horsepower and maximum torque of 400 Nm in the rpm range from 1,400 - 2,600 rpm with the ability to save fuel and be environmentally friendly.

Toyota Hilux 2017 has no change in design compared to the previous version.

In particular, this version is also integrated with advanced safety and security features including Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Trailer Sway Control (TSC), Active Traction Control (A-TRC) and Engine Immobilizer, providing more peace of mind for both driver and passengers on every journey.

In addition to the upgrades, the 2.4E 4x2 AT version is sold for the first time in Vietnam, replacing the previous 2.8G AT version.

Car interior space

The 2017 Hilux facelift still has a youthful style with 6 exterior color options, including: Pearl White, Red, Orange, Black, Gray and Silver; along with black interior.

Regarding the car price, the 2017 improved Hilux version was launched at a very competitive price, as follows: 2.4G 4x4 MT version costs 775 million VND, 2.4E 4x2 AT costs 673 million VND and 2.4E 4x2 MT costs 631 million VND./.
