Quy Chau police arrest 'addict' for stealing property

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 11, Quy Chau District Police said that this unit is completing the file to handle the subject Nguyen Xuan Huong (born in 1993), residing in block 2A, Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district for the act of property theft.

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on November 9, 2017, Quy Chau District Police received a report that the private home of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoai (born in 1993), residing in Minh Tien village, Chau Hanh commune, had just been broken into by a thief who stole property, including a Sony TV, 2 watches and a Nokia phone. The total value of the property was estimated at 15 million VND.

Upon receiving the report, Quy Chau District Police sent officers to the scene to collect information and related evidence to investigate the incident.

After screening and screening suspects, at around 4:00 p.m. the same day (November 9), Quy Chau District Police issued an emergency arrest warrant for suspect Nguyen Xuan Huong.,seize related evidence.

At the investigation agency, the subject admitted to breaking into Ms. Hoai's house to steal the above mentioned property and then brought it home to hide, but before he could sell it, he was discovered and arrested by the police.

It is known that Huong is a drug addict and has a previous conviction for intentional injury.

Currently, Quy Chau District Police are detaining the subject for further investigation and clarification.
