Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital celebrates 40th anniversary of its establishment

(Baonghean.vn) -On November 12, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the hospital's founding.

Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital (formerly Nghe Tinh Endocrinology Station, Nghe An Endocrinology Center) was established on November 14, 1977. After 40 years of development, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital has become the leading specialized hospital in the province; always performing well the examination and treatment of endocrine diseases and metabolic disorders in the province and the region; becoming a trusted address for patients.

With many achievements, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital has been awarded many noble prizes by the State, Ministry of Health, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee such as: Second Class Labor Medal (2014), Third Class Labor Medal (2009), Excellent Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee (2013 and 2014), Certificate of Merit of the Government (2007).

Speaking at the congratulatory ceremony of Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital, comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements in the career of caring for, protecting and improving people's health of the hospital throughout its 40-year history.

Within the framework of the anniversary activities, on November 12, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital organized the 2nd Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital Scientific Conference with the participation of many leading Vietnamese scientists in Endocrinology, Cardiology and major endocrinology hospitals in the country.

After the celebration ceremony, on the afternoon of November 12, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital organized a rally to respond to World Diabetes Day (November 14, 2017) with the theme "Women and Diabetes - We have the right to a healthy future"./.
