About 1,000 people have died in the past 100 years in the Bermuda Triangle (also known as the Devil's Triangle) in the western Atlantic Ocean, with a number of mysterious disappearances that scientists cannot explain. More than 75 planes and hundreds of ships have also mysteriously disappeared while traveling through this area.
However, a theory has emerged online that the mysterious disappearances in the Devil's Triangle are due to the influence of aliens. This theory suggests that the mysterious lights that explorer Christopher Columbus once saw in this area could be UFOs.
“What Columbus and his crew saw that historic night may be impossible to identify today,” the Express website hypothesized. “But the strange light was a real UFO.”
The explorer Columbus once said: “The land was first discovered by a sailor named Rodrigo de Triana, although the Admiral standing on the ship saw the light at 10 o'clock that night. But the light was so small that he could not confirm that it was a land.”
The mysterious disappearances in the Devil's Triangle have been explained by many different hypotheses in the past.
Some scientists explain the disappearances based on natural laws, while others believe that the terrain of the area is like a “sky hole” that the plane could not escape from. Some also believe that the disappearances were caused by impacts from outer space.
