Criticizing the Provincial Chairman for 3 times 'ignoring' the Prime Minister's request

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh criticized the Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee for not implementing the Prime Minister's instructions on handling complaints from businesses. Despite having received 3 urgent documents, the Chairman of Bac Lieu Province has not yet reported as requested.

The Prime Minister's direction on this matter was issued in December last year. Specifically, on December 22, 2016, in Document No. 11157/VPCP-VI, the Government Office sent to the leaders of Bac Lieu province, conveyed the opinions of the Government leaders regarding the denunciation of Minh Thang Bac Lieu Investment - Construction - Trading Joint Stock Company.

Official dispatch No. 11157 clearly stated that, regarding the denunciation of Minh Thang Bac Lieu Investment - Construction - Trading Joint Stock Company (headquarters: No. 1/143 Vinh An Hamlet, Vinh Trach Commune, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province), the Prime Minister directed the Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee to inspect, verify and clarify, and report the results to the Prime Minister before February 1, 2017.

However, the deadline for performing the task has been almost a year, the Government Office has sent documents 3 times urging for a report, but up to now the Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee has not reported.

Regarding this matter, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh criticized the Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee for not implementing the Prime Minister's instructions in Official Dispatch No. 11157 issued nearly a year ago.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Government Inspector General to verify the content of the denunciation of Minh Thang Bac Lieu Investment - Construction - Trading Joint Stock Company, conclude the verification content and recommend measures to handle the denunciation according to the provisions of law, and report to the Prime Minister before March 1, 2018.
