After nearly 7 years of construction, the project still has 5.8 km of unfinished sea dykes in all 4 communes of Quynh Bang, Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh and Quynh Nghia; on the route there are 9 drainage culverts, of which 8 drainage culverts have not been completed, water control gates have not been installed and 1 culvert has not been deployed.
After Quynh Luu district issued Official Dispatch No. 625/UBND.NN requesting the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to speed up the construction progress of the sea dike, on November 10, the investor mobilized human resources and machinery to construct the remaining unfinished sections in Quynh Nghia commune.
