Why does too much exercise make you sick?
Exercising too much and at high intensity can affect blood circulation in the body, thereby causing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, chest pain, and even bloody diarrhea.

Scientists say that exercising too much not only affects training efficiency and muscle recovery, but also makes exercisers more susceptible to illness, according to The Independent.
“Unfortunately, nausea and its accompanying symptoms are quite common,” says Richard Tidmarsh, a well-known fitness trainer in the UK.
Many people think that exercising a lot is good, helping them lose fat and gain muscle quickly. However, the negative effects on health have proven this thinking to be wrong.
“It’s not about training hard, it’s about training wrong,” Mr Tidmarsh told The Independent. Previous research in the UK has found that nearly half of athletes have experienced digestive problems due to high-intensity training.
Many people have the habit of eating something about 30 minutes before exercising. However, this meal may not be really good for the digestive system.
Mr Tidmarsh said the safest time to eat is about 3 to 4 hours before going to the gym. This is especially true for people who exercise by running. The reason is that running can easily shock the stomach and change the concentration of hormones that affect the intestines, according to The Independent.
