Voter Nguyen Van Lam (Hamlet 1) reported that many illegal lottery gambling dens have appeared in Nghi Kim commune, leading to a breakdown in public order and causing concern among the people. He requested that relevant authorities take strict and thorough measures to dismantle these illegal gambling dens.
Voter Nguyen Khac Hoa (Hamlet 6) also raised concerns about the slow progress of the Nghi Kim - Nghi Van drainage canal construction project, which is affecting the daily lives of the people.
Voters also expressed concerns about the high environmental protection fees while people still have to live with numerous environmental "hot spots" in industrial zones in the area; they requested attention to the agricultural sector, especially water pumping stations for people, to avoid water shortages for agricultural production.
Many voters believe that urban development is inevitable, but the progress of projects in the area is slow, and the drainage system is inadequate, leading to persistent flooding in some areas such as Hamlet 1 and Hamlet 2 of Nghi Kim commune.
