The British super luxury car model of the Black Badge version is different in appearance, interior and engine.

The Black Badge version is a solution to help Rolls-Royce conquer the younger customer group. The company said that Black Badge plays an important role in rejuvenating the British luxury car brand.

Previously, the average age of Rolls-Royce customers was 50-60 years old. Recently, thanks to the youthful product range, that number has dropped to 40. The Black Badge line is lower, aimed at the 30-40 age group.

Rolls-Royce first introduced the Ghost Black Badge in March 2016. After more than a year, the first one appeared on a street in Hanoi. The British super luxury car has the NG license plate.

Compared to the standard Ghost, the Black Badge has a black exterior, multi-layer paint and is completely hand-polished. All chrome details are in dark colors, including the Spirit of Ecstasy symbol on the front of the car. The Rolls-Royce logo uses a black background with white letters, instead of the usual white background with black letters.

The light alloy wheels, designed specifically for the Black Badge, are a signature feature, with the bolts that attach the wheels to the axles made from aerospace-grade titanium.

The interior is dark, with many surfaces made of carbon fiber composite combined with aluminum fibers. This type of aluminum is commonly used in the aviation industry, each fiber is 0.014 mm in diameter, carefully woven together, before being bonded with carbon fibers.

The surface is then coated with 6 layers of lacquer which takes 72 hours to complete, and then polished by hand.

Rolls-Royce says it uses a special coating method on the air-conditioning vents, which prevents the coating from fading or changing color over time. In the middle of the rear seats is the "infinity" symbol typical of the Black Badge line, implying the "limitless" philosophy of Rolls-Royce.

Ghost Black Badge is equipped with a 6.6L V12 Biturbo engine, producing 603 horsepower and 840 Nm of torque. 40 horsepower and 60 Nm higher than the standard version. The 8-speed automatic transmission fine-tunes the gears to improve acceleration response.
