Two girls and accomplice robbed a taxi at night

After knocking out the driver, the taxi robbers ran about 3 km before causing an accident. Four people were arrested by Dong Nai police.

Two girls (17-18 years old) and three young men prepared two iron pipes to rob, then took a taxi in Cat Lai ward, district 2 (HCMC), early morning of November 17. The group asked the driver to take them to Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai.

When the car arrived at Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Park, the young woman told the driver to take her to a social housing area in Hiep Phuoc Commune and then stop to use the restroom. Taking advantage of the driver’s lack of vigilance, the young man used an iron pipe to hit her hard from behind, causing the driver to fall onto the road.

The group stole the car and ran for about 3 km before causing an accident. Four police officers from Dong Nai province arrested them. The remaining young man is still on the run.
