17 year old girl leads gang to rob taxi

After calling a taxi, Vy and her friends brought two iron pipes and tricked the driver into going on a deserted road.

According to initial investigation, at around 1:00 a.m. on November 17, the subjects called a 7-seat taxi with license plate 51A-253.15 of Vinasun company, driven by 39-year-old To Ngoc Dung, residing in Nhon Trach district.

When getting on the bus, the statues carried two iron pipes and told the driver to go from Cat Lai ward, district 2, Ho Chi Minh city towards Nhon Trach district.

The taxi was robbed by a group of young robbers and then ran away.

When arriving at Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Park, Vy told the driver to take him to the social housing area in Hamlet 1, Hiep Phuoc Commune and stopped to use the restroom. Immediately after, Hoai used an iron pipe to hit him from behind, causing Mr. Dung to fall onto the road.

The driver shouted and asked for help, then Hoai and Hung ran away, while Quan took the taxi carrying Thu and Nhi towards Phuoc Thien commune.

Hearing the cry for help, the Hiep Phuoc commune police on patrol chased the subjects. When the taxi reached DT 769 road, in Cho hamlet, Phuoc Thien commune, Nhon Trach district, Quan drove the car into the curb, causing the car to flip over, causing serious damage. The subjects in the car were injured and were restrained by the police.

Immediately afterwards, the police took Quan, Vy, and Thu to the medical station for emergency treatment. Tran Du Hoai was arrested the same day while hiding in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province at noon the same day.
