On November 20th, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Court held a first-instance trial and sentenced the defendant Le Viet Bao (32 years old, residing in Tul B hamlet, Ea Wer commune, Buon Don district) to life imprisonment for the crime of "Rape of a child".

According to the indictment, at approximately 6:30 PM on July 13th, LAKh. (4 years old, residing in the same village as Bao) came to Bao's house to play with his child. Seeing Kh., Bao conceived the idea of ​​raping her, but since his wife was home, he lured Kh. to the Hoa Anh Dao kindergarten near his house (where Bao worked as a security guard) to play, and then committed the heinous act.

While committing the rape, Bao noticed that Kh.'s genitals were bleeding profusely, so he stopped, wiped it clean with a towel, and then took Kh. home.

Upon returning home, Bao lied to his wife, claiming that in anger he had punched Kh. in the genitals, causing bleeding. Believing her husband, Bao's wife advised him to take Kh. to Kh.'s parents' house and tell them the truth. However, after bringing Kh. home, Bao continued to lie, saying he had hit Kh. in the genitals with a toilet brush and asked to take Kh. to the hospital. Believing Bao, Kh.'s parents and Bao took Kh. to the Provincial General Hospital for treatment.

When examined by doctors, Kh. complained of genital pain and recounted to her parents how Bảo had committed the heinous act against her. Outraged by Bảo's inhumane behavior, Kh.'s parents filed a complaint with the authorities. Knowing he could not escape punishment, at 10:30 PM the same day, Bảo surrendered to the Ea Wer Commune Police and confessed to all his crimes.

The forensic report concluded that Kh. suffered a torn hymen, torn vulva and vagina, and bleeding in the abdominal cavity, with an injury rate of 41%.
