Life sentence for "blue beard" who committed depraved acts with 4-year-old girl

Seeing the girl come to his house to play, Bao seduced her and took her to a nearby school and committed a depraved act.

On November 20, the People's Court of Dak Lak province opened a first-instance trial and sentenced defendant Le Viet Bao (32 years old, residing in Tul B village, Ea Wer commune, Buon Don district) to life in prison for the crime of "Raping children".

According to the indictment, at around 6:30 p.m. on July 13, LAKh. (4 years old, living in the same village as Bao) came to Bao's house to play with his child. Seeing Kh., Bao had the intention of raping her, but his wife was at home at the time, so Bao seduced her and took Kh. to the Hoa Anh Dao kindergarten near his house (where Bao was working as a security guard) to play and then committed the depraved act.

While raping her, Bao discovered that Kh.'s private area was bleeding profusely, so he stopped, used a towel to clean it, and then took Kh. home.

When he got home, Bao lied to his wife that he had punched Kh. in the private area because he was angry, causing bleeding. Believing her husband, Bao's wife advised Bao to take Kh. to her house and tell Kh.'s parents the truth. However, when he brought Kh. home, Bao continued to lie that he had used a toilet brush to hit Kh. in the private area and asked to take Kh. to the hospital. Believing Bao, Kh.'s parents and Bao took Kh. to the Provincial General Hospital for treatment.

When examined by doctors, Kh. said he had pain in his genitals and told his parents about Bao's depraved acts. Extremely upset by Bao's inhumane behavior, Kh.'s parents filed a complaint with the authorities. Knowing that he could not escape the crime, at 10:30 p.m. the same day, Bao went to the Ea Wer Commune Police Station to surrender and confessed to all his crimes.

The forensic conclusion showed that Kh. had a torn hymen, torn vulva and vagina, and abdominal bleeding with an injury rate of 41%.
