North Korea will not stay silent for long
(Baonghean.vn)- The North Korean government seems to have been unusually silent in the past two months, since the country conducted its sixth nuclear test on September 3.
However, North Korea's erratic leader, Kim Jong-un, could resume missile and nuclear testing at any time.
According to a study, North Korea's tests over the years demonstrate that the country wants to achieve everything from short- to medium-range solid-fuel missiles, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), atomic bombs, to H-bombs, and finally thermonuclear weapons delivered with high-yield missiles to hit targets on US territory.

“Few observers believe that the US will invade Pyongyang and leave the Korean Peninsula in a state of war, because the price to pay is too high,” said military commentator Andrei Chang.
Instead, it cannot be ruled out that Washington could seek diplomatic engagement with Pyongyang to rein in leader Kim Jong-un, although this scenario may be quite fanciful given the ongoing war of words between the two sides.”
The Canadian defense magazine Kanwa Defense Review quoted a US intelligence official as insinuating that a family of a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is helping North Korea to bypass UN sanctions and smuggle materials for nuclear tests.
This newspaper commented: “Beijing has been affected by North Korea’s nuclear tests as the border between the two countries is more than 1,400 km long, and China’s northeastern provinces will suffer the most severe consequences if Pyongyang chooses to conduct a suicidal nuclear war against invaders, from Washington or from soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) along the border.”./.
