Myanmar's Parliament officially approves the establishment of two new ministries
According to THX, on November 23, the Myanmar National Assembly approved the proposal to establish two new ministries: the Ministry of the Office of the Union Government and the Ministry of International Cooperation. In addition, the National Assembly also approved the establishment of the Myanmar Anti-Corruption Commission.

Mr. Thaung Tun - National Security Advisor and Mr. Kyaw Tin - Minister of State in charge of foreign affairs have been appointed to lead the two new ministries respectively.
According to the Myanmar president's statement to the parliament, the two ministries were established to effectively implement administrative issues, planning and financial issues as well as cooperation with international organizations.
During the current Government's tenure, Myanmar had a total of 22 ministries./.
