Giving scholarships and blankets to Nghe An people

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 25, Tien Phong Newspaper in collaboration with Prudential awarded 6 scholarships to 6 students in Yen Thanh, Dien Chau districts and Hoang Mai town.

Each scholarship is worth 10 million VND.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also gave 80 warm blankets to the people of Yen Thanh and Hoang Mai town, worth 400,000 VND/blanket. These warm blankets were donated by the Phu Duc Thinh General Agent Office system.

“Supporting students - Wings for the future” is an annual scholarship for new students who have just passed university and college entrance exams but have especially difficult family circumstances, organized and selected by Tien Phong newspaper and Prudential Life Insurance Company.

With each scholarship worth 10 million VND, the first "Supporting Students - Wings to the Future" scholarship will award 160 scholarships, equivalent to 1.6 billion VND to disadvantaged new students nationwide, helping to support them on their path of study.

In localities, Prudential Company will coordinate with Tien Phong newspaper to award scholarships to new students at Prudential's agency offices in provinces and cities.
